Is it grey or gray? I prefer gray because I think a’s are prettier. I’m aware that might classify me as weird and I’m ok with that.
Anywhooo..today I’m sharing an outfit I wore last week but I didn’t take pics of it until this weekend. If you follow me on Instagram I needed to clarify because Friday I posted a pic of me wearing a ponytail and clearly I’m not getting this new haircut into a pony. Yep, I cut my hair. About 3-4 inches of it. This is where I want to launch into a paragraph or two about my hair, but instead I might need to write a separate post about that…
I actually wore this dress for our family pictures this year but I changed it up here with a different cardigan and belt. It didn’t occur to me at first that my gray flyaway cardi would look good with this, but a spur of the moment decision to try it turned into a win. What do you think?
dress: Target , cardi: Target, belt: F21, socks: Kohls, tights: Simply Vera at Kohls; boots: Fallen by Fergie, necklace: F21

Super cute! I think it matters which shade of gray it is, and that’s the right one. If it was a heather gray I’d say no.

I’m loving your hair! I used to have an asymmetrical cut like this & now you make me miss it! You now those awkward growing out months? Yeah that’s me. Then when it finally gets super long I know I’ll just chop it off again. Vicious cycle! Btw I’m with you on ‘gray’. Great outfit!

Thank you Sam! I go back and forth with wanting to grow mine out. I just can’t get past the awkward stage because it doesn’t want to do anything and I get frustrated with it! haha You are so right, it’s a vicious cycle. The year I spent growing it out, a waste because I went and chopped it again haha

I prefer “grey.” It looks more “ye olde English” to me, like “autumn,” “colour,” and even “glamour.”
Regardless, I totally love your outfit here. Very cozy.

Looks great with the green dress! I think I like grey better but I have no clue why

I think it’s great! Love the color palette with the whole look. And the new ‘do looks good!
I think grey vs. gray is an American vs. elsewhere kind of thing – both are correct/used.

Thanks Amanda! I had heard that but was too lazy that night to google it
Thanks for educating me! haha
