Today we’re going simple. When in doubt just add BLACK, right?!
I wore a lot of color this spring and summer thanks to my shopping spree back in April, but I realized when the weather turned colder that a lot of my fall pieces are BLACK.
Black is simple/elegant or cool/edgy and really you can’t go wrong with it. I started with a loose fitting black blouse and my black boots, then added a scarf I picked up at Buckle. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! I love these kinds of blousy tops because they are so easy to wear and they hide a multitude of sins. Halloween candy anyone?! Blah, I’ve had my fair share this week. Time to get back on the wagon!
blouse: Express, scarf: Buckle {similar}, boots: Steven Madden {similar}, skinnies: Dressbarn {similar here, here and here, plus size here}
Ok, so what do you think of this one?

My favorite look so far is Day 2, but this is a CLOSE second!
I can’t help but think that I (well, my giant legs) couldn’t pull them off (both figuratively & literally).

It’s always worth trying them on! Have you been to The Shops at Grand River? Maybe you’ll win the giveaway and get to go check them out!

This is a cute and comfy looking outfit. Love the boots with the skinnies- can’t go wrong there! That is one of those tops you got that I like so much, isn’t it? I really like the outfit with the way the top is and how the scarf pulls it all together being a neutral color like the skinnies, but even more so with the scarf being a cream color. Your nail polish really stands out with this outfit, also and looks really good. So cute and really liking the whole outfit- looks like something I would wear on a given day to go shopping and run errands.

My absolute fave look is day 2-I love the rocker chic vibe it has-totally my style. I’d definitely hit Dressbarn first to see if I could score those snakeskin skinnies.
I’m already a fan on yours and Shops of Grand Rivers Facebook page. I’m now follow you and Shops of Grand River on Twitter, also.

Those snakeskin jeans are fabulous and you’re so smart to come up with different ways to style them! But I want to know more about that fabulous nail polish you’re wearing – what color is it?!
