What I Wore: Friday Night Shorts

Friday night I went to dinner and dessert with my good friends Brittaney and Ami.  This is the outfit I wore….except I ended up going with my leopard flats at the last minute, ha.  I was wearing two things I normally don’t wear: shorts and flats.  Sometimes its good to mix things up.  I really loved the look of the heels better with the shorts though, so that’s why I’m showing them here.  I just didn’t want to walk all over downtown Birmingham with them on ;)

Pink scoop neck: Pick Your Plum, Black short: NY&C {similar}, Bag: TJ Maxx, Leopard heels: Sole Society, Necklace: H&M, Ring: Kohl’s

We had diner at Surin West, one of my fav places!

For dessert we headed to Steel City Pops, a new swanky spot for grownups that serves all natural popsicles.  I got coconut, so good!

We ended the night with some dancing…but not on the town, at home with some Just Dance on the xbox.  Good times!

    I tried that once but I think I am just meant to be a jeans and t-shirt kind of gal :)

    you look amazing! i LOVE shorts with flats, so im sure that option was great too! i went to the mall for 3 hours (and i hate the mall) on saturday looking for black shorts exactly like yours. all the shorts i tried on had a weird flare, instead of fitted. love the look!
