February 26 – Xander lost his 2nd tooth! He let me pull it the rest of the way out with dental floss. He was so excited that he’d lost another tooth and I was a little bit sad because this is the end of his babyhood for sure. His mouth will never be the same again haha.
February 27 – Another Julep mani. I seriously love these polishes {in case you haven’t caught on
haha}. I wore this one for 6 days with no chips. Couldn’t you just die over that color?! Gorgeous.
February 28 – I bought a new scarf. You’ll be seeing this one in a WIWW soon I’m sure.
February 29 – Happy Leap Day! Can you believe I was home sick? Of all days of the year that only happens every 4 years. I started to feel sick Tuesday but I fought it off with Alka Seltzer. Wednesday I just couldn’t fight anymore. I had ear pain, a mild sore throat, mild nausea, but no fever. I’d not taken a photo all day until that evening when the kids were piled up in bed with me watching TV.
March 1 – Happy March! I woke up planning to go to work but just taking a shower zapped all my energy. I laid back down and slept another 3 hours. I must have needed the rest. That afternoon hubby drove me to the Dr. {who had no explanation for me why my ear was hurting, said it was red but not infected} and then to Chick fil A for some chicken soup and an Icedream. You know, for my mild sore throat
I ate the whole thing and didn’t share a single bite.
March 2 – Happy Friday! Was feeling much better so I went back to work only to be completely stressed out about the threat of severe weather/tornadoes. My office ended up closing at 3:30 that afternoon because of the threat and they NEVER close. I went home to watch the sky for any sign of tornado since I am now convinced they will just drop out of the sky before the sirens even have a chance to sound. Luckily we never got any tornadoes around here, but we had our safe place, weather radio, and flashlights ready.
March 3 – My sweet friend Michelle from high school is in the Air Force and she’s currently stationed in Turkey. She sent me a goody package filled with all sorts of things. My favorite is definitely the tea glass she hand-painted the peacock feather onto.
Hope you all had a fantastic week with no sickness or tornadoes!

I LOVE your nail polish color!
My daughter (who is my oldest) just lost her first tooth last week. It was heartbreaking for me – she was thrilled of course! Why do they have to grow up?
