I planned to wait until next week or the weekend to go live with my new look, but some of the changes I made in the Theme Tester plugin ended up showing up on the live site.  When I realized how it looked I had to go ahead with the live version.

So here she is!

I am so so happy with how this turned out.  I’ve wanted a redesign since the spring, but as you know they aren’t cheap and I knew I couldn’t do what I wanted alone.  So I waited until I had some spending money and I commissioned Kelly Place on Etsy who’s artwork I absolutely fell in love with.  It all started with her peacock print, which I purchased, and the more time that went by the less I could deny this is what I wanted for my new look.  Her artwork.  That feather.

I also wanted a cleaner feel, hence all the white.  It just feels less crowded to me now.

But Kelly isn’t the only one who helped me pull this off.  My good friend, Jennifer of The Looks for Less and {her new site} The Fab Fatale helped me install the whole thing.  Without her this wouldn’t have been possible.  Thank you so much Jenn! {xoxo!}
